Dr Reza Azmi is the founder and Director of Wild Asia, a Malaysian-based conservation initiative. Reza has over 12 years experience in issues related to biodiversity conservation. His conservation career began with WWF Malaysia and in 2003 he established Wild Asia. He has led several multi-disciplinary teams conducting conservation assessments for International Aid Agencies, National Governments and NGOs. Since 2004, Reza has also been instrumental in conceptualizing the Wild Asia's Responsible Tourism Initiative. Reza is involved in talks and seminars on responsible tourism, and has led a pilot project to explore ways in which responsible tourism can be localized in Malaysia. |
