

The COMPAL programme is a technical assistance programme on competition and consumer protection policies for Latin America supported by SECO (Switzerland). This programme assists Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay in strenghtening their capacities and institutions in the areas of competition and consumer protection laws and policies.
The UNCTAD-led programme, is being implemented with national coordinators from each beneficiary country, involves the establishment and/or strengthening of capacities in various institutions related to competition and consumer protection policies.
