Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are an important lever for economic development, especially for developing countries such as Tunisia. Access to new technologies and the Internet in particular, is considered a prerequisite for companies and consumers participating in the digital economy and especially in the development of e-commerce. This case study describes the importance of the pursuit of greater autonomy in the destination’s distribution and that it has become a priority for Tunisia. ICTs are considered as a development vector for the Tunisian tourism industry. (For more information see: case study Tunisia).
