The purpose of the conference is to give a significant input to the development of e-tourism in Asia-Pacific as a key factor for growth and empowerment. In order to reach this goal, UNCTAD will be joined by other relevant international organizations, governments, civil society and business community high level representatives who will share their experience over the two day event.

 

13 March 2007

Each workshop will be led by facilitators. Inputs will be provided from public and private sector representatives, in order to have a cross-sectoral professional overview about e-tourism technical matters.
 

14 March 2007
The High-Level segment of the conference will be opened by Guest speakers of Honour that will introduce the main topics related to e-tourism.

Guest speakers for the 4 panels will include: Tourism Ministers, Ambassadors, representatives of international organizations with relation to tourism and ICT, institutional experts in the field of e-tourism, high-level civil society representatives (firms, consulting cabinets, etc.).
