The Southern African Custom Union (SACU) Regional Co-operation Framework on Competition Policy and Unfair Trade Practices
This report provides an in-depth analysis of the legal provisions of the SACU agreement 2002 dealing with regional cooperation on competition policy and cross border unfair trade practices. In addition, it displays a legal and economic interpretation of the relevant provisions of the SACU agreement and outlines two options.

Review of Recent Experiences in the Formulation and Implementation of Competition Law and Policy in Selected Developing Countries
This study review experiences of five countries (Thailand, People Rep. of Laos, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe) in the formulation and enforcement of competition law and policy over the five years. The studies review the substantive content of their laws and policies as well as the application of the competition laws to recent cases involving anti-competitive mergers, restrictive agreements, monopolizations and hard core cartels.

This book identifies some 300 bilateral and regional agreements, of which more than 100 contain commitments on competition policies with implications at both regional and national level. An Assessment of Anticompetitive Practices and their Effects on The Kenyan Economy
This study looks at the status of competition and the effects of anti-competitive practices affecting the Kenyan economy. The study also identifies challenges faced by Kenya Monopolies and Prices Commission in an effort to enforce competition law and policy, including an appropriate institutional framework and coordination with other government policies and sector regulators, whose policies and decisions affect the operations of the Kenyan market.

This report, prepared in the context of the process of formulating a competition policy for Mozambique, is aimed at providing an assessment of the most worthwhile competitionrelated reforms that could be achieved by the introduction of a comprehensive competition policy and related legislation. It focuses on the available policy options and on the role of competition policy in the overall design of a coherent development strategy and endeavours to take full account of the country's present stage of economic development, including the challenges it faces related to legal reform, economic reconstruction and meeting its social and developmental goals.
