At the ICT for All Exhibition, UNCTAD will showcase its work on helping developing countries to formulate and implement ICT policies and strategies, including measuring ICT. In addition, it will provide customised advisory services to interested government officials on free and open source software.

UNCTAD will show how its ICT-based programmes promote economic development and trade. Visitors will have the opportunity to hear more about:

  • How the customs automation programme ASYCUDA helps customs administrations worldwide be more efficient;
  • How ICTs are used to deliver training and build training capacities on trade issues (TrainForTrade);
  • How the E-Tourism Initiative helps developing countries to market their tourism destinations;
  • How the ICT benchmarking tool helps policy makers assess and compare their countries' ICT connectivity and access;
  • How the Connect Africa Initiative promotes ICT capabilities and infrastructure in African LDCs;
  • How the Investment Gateway facilitates investment efficiency through transparency in all rules, regulations and procedures.
