Under a technical cooperation arrangement between the UNCTAD secretariat and the Committee of Participants, the GSTP Project extends technical and administrative support to the Committee, the statutory body established in the GSTP Agreement to perform  such functions as may be necessary to facilitate the operation and further the objectives of the Agreement. The Committee had wanted a website dedicated exclusively to disseminating information about its affairs to the general public. The Director of the Division on International Trade in Goods and Services, and Commodities (DITC) acknowledges the contribution of the Web Unit of the secretariat in helping meet the Committee's objective of transparency.
