The figure below shows the interaction between UNCTAD and the NPCs within the framework of the PMC. It also shows the interaction between the PMC and the SDC, the ITPA and the local institutions involved in competition and consumer protection issues. The following illustration takes into account the core beneficiaries of COMPAL II.

SDC   :    Strategic Direction Committee
AGE   :    Advisory Group of Experts to provide counsel to the all members of the PMC
TF      :    Internal Task Force from the UNCTAD competition and consumer policies branch, coordinated by the COMPAL Team in Geneva
NPC   :    National Project Coordinator  – appointed by the COMPAL beneficiary country.
