Information prepared by the Government of Brazil

All major international airlines have daily flights to Brazil.

VARIG, the Brazilian airline, has daily direct flights from the capitals in South America, from Mexico, the United States (Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and New York), Canada and Japan (Tokyo and Narita) and from several European cities (Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Milan, Munich and Paris). For UNCTAD XI participants, VARIG will  have special rates.

TAM, another Brazilian company, has flights from Asuncion, Buenos Aires, Ciudad del Este, Cochabamba, Miami, Montevideo, Paris, Santa Cruz de la Sierra and Santiago.

It is strongly recommended that air tickets be booked as soon as possible.

Participants wishing to arrive in Brazil on a private aircraft are requested to contact the National Committee so that proper documentation can be forwarded for completion.
