The following is a synopsis of the various components of the UNCTAD XI website, including design and functionality.

The UNCTAD XI website has five main sections:

Each section is divided into several components, the content of which is taken from the above-mentioned substantive sections. Thus, each page provides a portal to what is considered to be the most relevant information - for that particular section - within a given time frame.

Since the site homepage will be updated regularly to reflect new developments, we encourage you to visit the site regularly for the most up-to-date information.

All pages contain the following:

Site tools:

  • Site map: A diagram of the site's five sections and the pages in each section.
  • Page Index: An alphabetical list of all pages in the UNCTAD XI website - designed to facilitate perusal of the various page at different levels.
  • Latest updates: A log of all new and updated web pages - intended to inform site users of updates and new information added to the site.
  • E-mail alerts: Users can subscribe to updates and receive an e-mail notification of new content added to the UNCTAD XI site.

Match whole word
  • Enter up to 10 words separated with space, for example trade development policy
  • Restrict the search by placing a plus sign (+) in front of the words that must be found for the page to be considered a match, for example: +trade +development +policy
  • Restrict the search by placing a minus sign (-) in front of the words that must not occur to consider the page a match, for example: +trade +development -agriculture
  • If "Match whole word" is selected but you still want to match part of a word, place an asterisk(*) at the end of the word, for example develop* global which will match "developing global" but not "developing globalization".
