The meeting took place at SECO premises, from 14 to 18 pm and had the following agenda items:

for Africa and Asia
2. Draft Evaluation Report: Discussion on findings and comments by UNCTAD
3. Follow up of the COMPAL Programme
4. Date and venue for the Annual Monitoring Meeting of COMPAL
5. Next Steps

As for the next steps of the meeting, it was mutually agreed that:

i.) Finalization of the Draft Evaluation report in accordance to all COMPAL stakeholders' views
ii.) Strengthening support to COMPAL at UNCTAD level in order to better address the need for substantive monitoring and feedback in the deepening process as required for COMPAL II.
iii.) Other issues to prepare for COMPAL II
iv.) Follow up with approaching new donors for UNCTAD XII side event.
