On 1 November 2006, the donor (SECO), UNCTAD and the representantive of national coordinators (the Programme Management Committee - PMC) in Geneva agreed to organize the second annual meeting of COMPAL in San Jose, Costa Rica (March 2007). This major event of the Programme will gather the vice-director of COMCO, Mr. Patrick Krauskopf as well as the international technical programme advisor (ITPA), Mr. Simon Evenett. These two competition experts will be participating in the introductory course of the academic programme that is being organized by Costa Rican universities accordingly.
