The World Investment Directory (WID)and its database assemble comprehensive data and information on FDI, operations of TNCs, basic financial data on the largest TNCs, the legal framework in which such investment takes place and covers 36 economies of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The WID aims at becoming a standard reference book for policy-makers, researches, governmental organizations and the private sector, who need to gain an understanding for the patterns and trends of FDI and require reliable information on FDO and TNCs.
