The participants will consider the role, which competition law and policy can play in creating a favorable environment for the emergence of a dynamic enterprise sector and for protecting the competition process. This session will look at regulations and government measures that affect the functioning of markets including industrial policy, investment incentives, access to natural monopolies, and trade policies.
Delegates are invited to submit written communications on this topic, share their experiences during the discussions, and provide the meeting with relevant material which is already publicly available. Delegates wishing to make a structured intervention during the round table are invited to inform the Secretariat.
