Panel VI | Application of competition law and policy to the informal sector

Context

The purpose of this panel is to discuss the relevance and the application of competition law and policy principles to the informal sector and evaluate the role which effective markets can play in reducing poverty, and promoting consumer welfare.

Delegates are invited to submit written communications on this topic, share their experiences during the discussions, and provide the meeting with relevant material which is already publicly available. Delegates wishing to make a structured intervention during the round table are invited to inform the Secretariat.
